In the time known as the Dark Ages, monks were the ones responsible for copying and illustrating books. In our modern cybernetic times, Two Evil Monks continue that tradition of "illumination", preserving words and pictures on these web pages for the enjoyment of others.  Here's a little info on the site, who we are, and how we do what we do.

1. Who are we?
Well, we call ourselves ephian and KueiLuola  (aka the defenestrated one), gender female. We're located in the greater Chicagoland area of the US. We do this website for fun and to promote interest in some shows we think deserve it. If you want to contact us, you can do so from here. We always like to hear from visitors to our website.

2. What do we want?
Yes, we know this faq is sounding Vorlon/Shadow-esque, but we can't help it. Yes, we want you to have a fun visit to our site and become interested in some of these good shows we cover.

The other thing we want is something for the website - we want SCRIPTS ! We would like to include real shooting scripts of the series and movies we feature after the shows are aired. We've found that fans are very interested to read the shooting scripts for shows and compare them with end product that they see on the screen. If you have any scripts for these series that you might be willing to provide, please email us!

3. How do we get all those pictures?
All pictures in the Galleries are from screen captures done on the computer with a video capture card. We get captures from four different types of sources, each giving a different quality image. Our first captures were done from video tapes, later switching to a DVR* as a source. The High Definition (HD) pictures are from over-the-air broadcasts received with a standard antenna. To see how the pictures look from different sources, click on the thumbnails below to see the original full size image.

4. Why are the pictures in the Galleries smaller than the originals?
The Galleries are set up for episode/movie recaps. So we use a layout that we hope lets the story be told by the captions and the pictures, and this means that all of the pictures are made smaller to fit a smoothly flowing layout. When you see 'Larger' written below any gallery picture, you can click on the word and go to a full size image. We've tried to do this with scattered pictures in our better-quality galleries.

5. What software do we use to process the pictures?
We use a full version of PhotoPaint from Corel Draw and use batch processing for most photo manipulation.

6. Can you use the pictures?
If you like our pictures and want to use them, all we ask is that you give us some credit if you are posting them on the web.
